Family Day 2015

Its been another year with our little man officially a part of our family.

Its a day that we play hooky and just be together.  

We had the perfect weather so we chose to go to the zoo this year.  

Then we went to the mall and did a little playing and shopping.

Then to build-a-bear workshop wear Tristan picked out (adopted) a puppy to love.

We put in 3 hearts (one for mommy, daddy, and Tristan) and made a wish.

I know its bad luck to say what you wished for but I've 

never been very superstitious...I wished for more days like this and 

for our family to grow soon.  

Dump Trucks and Bulldozers

This kid is so into 

transportation and construction vehicles right now.

It's the topic of play, conversation, book requests from the library, etc.

It's amazing but he nows the difference between

a cement mixer and a garbage truck.  Or an excavator vs a trencher...

And so on and so forth.  

Just simply driving down the street is exciting because you never 

know when we might spot a "tanker truck" 

or a "flatbed truck"

His little brain is a sponge...

and right now it just so happens to be soaking up all things boy!

that it's working well enough for me to upload pics I

Easter Celebration 2015

Here comes peter cotton tail, hoppin down the bunny trail...

He even "hopped" into Shopko!

We had a lot of fun dying eggs this year.

This Easter was filled with a whole lot of Jesus 

and a whole lot of joy, joy, joy, joy 

down in our hearts.  

The weather was beautiful 

and time spent with family rejuvenated our souls.

And lets not forget that Easter represents new life

and new beginnings as we celebrate the arrival

of our newest family member.  

Finally a boy cousin for Tristan.  

Soon enough they will

be best buds.
