Christmas Cheer

The build-up and preparations for Christmas are

always so exciting.  

We remembered to sprinkle the reindeer food out on the lawn...

We had our final days with "Elfie"...

and he left Tristan a good-bye note on Christmas Eve.

We spent Christmas Eve with my side at my brother and sister-in-laws.

Tristan got a drum set.  

(I can't even be upset with the 

loudness of this toy because

 he's a natural.)

We opened presents from Santa early on Christmas morning 

before heading to Luke's side.

This QVC special was quite a hit!

We are teaching Tristan that we get presents on this holiday because it's 

Jesus' birthday.  

Wow!  His love is amazing!

On the second week of Christmas my true love gave to me...

We continued the holiday cheer through the second

week of December and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 

around here.

On Day 11 Elfie hid 12 candy canes for Tristan to find

which was a hit.

Then on Day 13 we saw Santa! (again)

(Santa!!!  I know him!  I know him! ~Elf)

and then we opened a couple gifts with some yule tide friends.

Then on Day 14 we did some Christmas baking at 

Grandma's house.

Can't believe Christmas is only 10 days away!

The first 7 days of December

An elf on the shelf came to be

a part of our Christmas celebration thanks

to great Aunty Chris.

Tristan appropriately named him "Elfie"

We started on Dec. 1 and I made an advent calendar to count down the days.

Elfie is in on the advent calendar too.  

The first day was an introduction.  The advent calendar read...

We have a new friend.  He is on top of the tree.

Santa left a book about him.  

Day 5 was fun because at the Library we had a visit from...

yes the man himself...SANTA!

Tristan got close but not too close.  Oh and he got a

candy cane from Santa.  His first one ever and 

he loved it!

Day 7 has been my favorite so far because 

I think I had just as much

(if not more) fun as Tristan did.
